I just purchased a 1973 Vega. It was pertty much turn key but i am sure the guy said he used alot of S-10 parts, for the front suspension. Sorry i don't know what year. One thing about the car that i do not like is that at it does not really turn sharp at all, kind of a pain in a parking lot, but not a problem on the road. I am sure this has to do with the S-10 parts being used. Yahoo has a H body forum it is pretty big maybe you can get some answers there.
 Hope this helps.

Yes it is S10 parts.  www.V8monza.com has all the info you need to do the swap.  We are actually in the middle of the 5 bolt conversion on a 79 Monza.  The rear end is done, just need to figure out the brakes parts.  Good luck, its not an easy one!
