What is a fair price for these parts?........and not get screwed over?
- 1976 Ford 9 inch rearend out of a 1976 Country Squire Station Wagon which had a 460, C6 trans, and had an emblem of Continental U.S. saying could tow 7,500 lbs and put 800 lbs on the ball with a factory 2 inch frame hitch welded to the car's frame? The 9 inch rearend is fine AND has DISC BRAKES!
- The C6 Trans out of the same car.
- A 1964 Buick 300 cubic inch V-8 out of a 4 dr Skylark with 10:1 compression and a 2 bbl carb, the engine is stuck but rebuildable. This engine has aluminum heads, cast iron block, and exhaust manifolds but they look like headers in design.
- A 1961 Buick "Nailhead" 401 V-8 and a 1955 322 V-8. Unfortunately, they both are stuck also but rebuildable.
- A late 1940's to maybe mid 50's Willy's Jeep engine hood with original chrome strip down the middle that's still shiney.
- 1967 Ford 390 V-8 with a 2 bbl carb out of a Galaxie 500 2 dr coupe.
I know of a guy interested in these parts and want to get a fair price for them. That is a total of 7 items: 9 inch rearend with factory disc brakes, C6 transmission, 3 different Buick engines, a Ford 390 engine, and a 50ish (or so) Willy's Jeep engine hood with chrome. What is a fair price for each of these parts? Help please....also, look back to my posting on the "1974 Buick Riviera help" and let me know what you guys think of this project too-----TALK ABOUT DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! I love the Buicks, can you tell?
Thanks to all in advance,
John Lincicum (owner of Buicks)

I also have a Flathead Ford V-8 engine and also a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado 500 cubic inch engine. I don't remember if I mentioned that I have late 40s to early 50s I-6 engine also. Can some of you guys tell me what the value of all of these are worth each? All of these parts are in northwestern Illinois although I am in Albuquerque, New Mexico right now and I know of a guy here in Albuquerque that is interested in most, if not all of these things. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
