Hey guys my name's Nate and I'm a newbie on the forums.  I thought you'd all be interested in my school's auto shop program.  I'm in the 11th grade at Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead CA and we run a 1971 Camaro and a '74 Corvette.  The Camaro is our main car and started out with a 350 built by the students under the supervision of the teacher, Dave Meigide, with an initial ET of I believe 12.82, to an 8.80 with a professionally built Dougans nitrous'd 427 small block.  The 427 is out right now being rebuilt but the "back up" 434 small block is in the car running mid 10's.  We won first place in Bracket-1 for the first time in over ten years at the PSCA event in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and also participated in the Fontana event this past weekend.

Here are some pictures of the cars and links to some videos.  The group picture with the two cars consists of all of those who participated in our Swedish Exchange Program.

The teacher and all of those involved have been working their asses off for a long time and I thought it might be cool to get our name out there.
