I was chilling at the usual classic car night at Bob's Big Boy in Tuluca Lake (Burbank) a while back and they had the actual concept car there. This was right after it was first revealed. Yes I do have a pic if you all don't believe me. It was so cool.

I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show. If they build it they will sell like Mustangs. Tom

Its great how this car resembles the original much more than the Stang or Camaro resembles the original. At least someone got it right, even if they are just a Mercedes in disguise now.

Yeah Dodge did it right with the New Challenger. I can't wait to get my hands on one. I just hope they make it in Sublime green. I need it to match my 1970 T/A car

my question. why have a car that looks just like the old ones? why not take your money and have an older car modified to have the a/c and overdrive tranny upgrades? when they come out with a new model, shouldnt it be different? even if it looks good, you cant keep the same body style forever. nothing wrong with drawing insperation from the older models, but not taking it, rounding off the corners, slapping bigger rims on it and re-relasing. just my thoughts.

The new GTO looks nearly identical to my Grand Prix GT, at least the challenger looks like a muscle car. Have you priced out e-body's lately? Good luck affording one. I think the challenger would be great, if they can put her on a diet compared to the charger. Mitch "I'm a Mean Machine, Drinking Gasoline and Honey you can make my motor run"-Guns and Roses

Well I like the looks of the 1970 Challenger and would have loved to have bought one brand new. The only problem was I was Ten years old then. What are the prices of a used 70 Challenger now? if I sold my 70 Challenger I would not be able to afford another unless I reinvested in another one. so if I can get a brand new one for 35,000.00 with a Hemi and a stick and a warrantee to boot. I will be in seventh heaven.
