location location location, thats why im trying to figure out. ive got 64 nova and im trying to figure out where the best spot to put the battery kill switch would be. have thought about the tailight but would have to cut the housing out and not sure if the 40+ year old lense can hold the switch in. anybody got any ideas on where to put this bad boy? ive also thought about a sheetmetal bracket under the bumper but what would you do?!   ......scooter

It needs to be someplace easily accessible.

Mounting under the bumper seems to be the best choice. just keep in mind what woudl happen to the switch in a rear end collision when you're placing it.

My mechanic friend has a 9.90 BBC 68 camaro with the shut off located next to the right tailight. He told me if you crash track officals can shut off your fuelpump without guessing where it's at.    WIEDER

Not sure what the purpose of your vehicle is? But if you need a switch I can guess!!! Some tracks will not allow one to race if the switch is not easy access, visible with clear markings ON/OFF. Of course this all depends on Horse Power and ETs.
For just the reasons wieder stated.
