does anyone know if other GM products with hidden headlights, like firebirds, fieros or anything else, have the same sort of vacuum headlight system as old c3 vettes? i haven't had the chance to investigate the junkyards lately, and its starting to get damn cold up here in wisconsin, so i haven't been in the mood anyway. better yet, has anyone made an electric conversion? and a junkyard turbo toss-together on a cheap smallblock would be awesome! from 80's 2.2 dodges maybe? i just bought the book from that dude in florida, but haven't gotten it yet. can't wait.

as far as i know, all of the Fieros and Firebirds were electric. werent the 60s RS Camaros electric too? i might be wrong.
Maybe you can retrofit some kind of Ford setup on there? they used vacuum actuators for years. hit up any Lincoln in the 70s with them or T-birds, or LTD's.
if you want to convert to electronic though, heres an article using Mazda RX7 parts on a '70 Cougar. (might take a while to load, its a PDF file)
