I dont get into these type-writter fights ever but when you said OVER-RATED 5.0s. I keep waiting for the world beaters to show up at the track myself!! They all now quote that 1200 hp or that 1500hp like it is like bakin a cake. The ones that say it are usually the ones that know nothing and can hardly change there own spark plugs! I would hate to know I had to have a power adder just to get out of the beach box

Okay I bought something partially impulse partially price,  400 for an extended cab s15 4x4 with fairly little rust.  Now I have to drive to a different state to get it legal.  Emmisions, any way I apreciate all the help, Now I have to save for the oil pan and headers, whatever else I will need for the conversion.  I have a 320 horse small block to put in not much power but I think it should be pretty cool.  Good price for somthing that already has a lift kit and more spent on tires than I did the truck.

i have an 88 monte ss with a chrome edelbrock 454 in it. i wanna sell it cuz it belongs on the track and i cant afford to finish what was started. the motor was built last year and the parts totaled 6300 dollars. it has approximately 1500 miles on it and has never really been broken in yet.(not literally) it needs a positive  traction rear end in it, and already has limited slip. it has been through 4 350 turbos and 1 400 turbo. we know thats why the transmissons keep going out. if anyone has the time and money to finish this beautiful car please be my guest.
