One fella here is putting a 4.0 fuel injected Jeep motor in his Rambler witha Mustang 5 spd. The ole AMC 199,232,258 six is the same motor sooooo........
Or change the cross member and put in the 360. While you build the motor beware some of the New timing covers out there produced by CROWN are milled too short on the backside (Im building 401 and just found this out as I tried to stuff in the distributer in, to fire the motor)
Use the a good used cover, or double check the new cover. A thick gasket on new cover will space it out so everthing ines up. Not my IDEA of a proper fix though.
