I can't lie..they are awsome! Designed by Honda for ford.. They run a crossflow port design ( instead of the log) and the efi version has slightly bigger valves than the 1982 carby version..

In terms of flow figures..300hp flywheel hp  is easy to make with a mild hydralic cam.. Say about 215 @50 and about 510 lift.. Going bigger can get just on 400hp.. But it will be a big cam na motor and hard to drive on the street..

They can take bigger cams than the latter ohc version.. But the ports are slightly smaller.. Still, there is a guy I know who has run 11.5 na with a 3500stall and 4.11 diff gears.so they are drivable and make power..

To get this thread back on track..

There is another guy I know with the same STD motor as I have and same kkk k27 german turbo and he is spinning the wheels on the express way at 130km (75-80mph). Whilst changing into top 4th gear... In a full wieght falcon! With STD eec1v computer and rising rate fuel reg..that's a budget build making import turbo destroying power cheaply..

You can see wrecking yard/ 2nd hand turbos are no joke for cheap power! Even on a 250ci six!

haha. great idea. that sounds just like something they would do on top gear but that would be amazing in CC

Larry Larson just ran the quarter mile in 6.99 seconds at 194 mph in his twin-turbo, Mike Moran-powered, Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week-winning Nova.http://www.bangshift.com/blog/Two-Time-Drag-Week-Winner-Larry-Larson-Runs-6.99-More-to-come.html

And we still can't get a turbo project in CC . . . .
