Need someone with previous experience with installing headers in a 1970 2wd C-10 Truck. It's a 350ci, auto trans, pwr steering & A/C. Need long tube (a must) with the best all around fit, easiest install & maintenance friendly. I have been looking at the Hedman Elite (part# 500-69890). Let me in on your expertice guys, I don't want to have one of those nightmare; nothing lines up, bolts up or works with anything else kind of a engine swap. Oh, pulling out the original 402ci motor & installing my hot 350ci which will have this truck jumpin'. Thanx Bob

I ordered a set of Flowtech Afterburners for my 75 C-10 and was not happy with the product.  The header flange bolt holes weren't machined correctly so they didn't line up properly.  The collectors also were poorly constructed and one of tubes was up against the starter.  I am returning them for Hedman headers or Hookers.

Yeah, A buddy of mine @ the local parts store had told me those were not a quality product, Thanx for the input, Thats why I'm asking on here cuz it's too easy to just take some Donkey's word for it either because they are junk or they realized a better product is out there for the same price and/or the local parts stores are all trying to sell there produce and we are the ones all spun over how the hell to make them work & still look good. So thanx again.

By the way clintond, do your homework with the Hookers (competition) got a set for my 72 Chevelle and SADDEST fit I've ever experienced, they hit everything in the street you can think of, so check it good. Good Luck.
