Well, all hadles are done, and they came out perfecto! I even brought the truck over to a b-shop(does alot of high class work) for the owner(who has done some outstanding work for me) to evaluate. He said to me "are you sure you never did spray painting before", because i'm at a loss of words about how excellent you've done. But I have to sadly say that i'm taking my mirrors to him Monday for him to do, only because of the angles&crevise's of the mirrors to shoot them. So sand, prep,&paint(start to finish) he is charging me $125 for them. But i'm about to do myself (cuz they are easy) are the air dam, fog bezels, piece in between bumper&apron, both bumper step pads, and my grille shell. I do have another question, i'm using nason 2k urethane primer. Since the air dam is the flexible plastic, do I have to switch to a flex primer(air dam is the flexible plastic), or can I use what I have been? Is it possible to mix a flexible primer with a high build?

wieder: you have been an incredible amount of help to me and I thank you so much for that. I wish I knew how to post pics so you can get an idea. many thanks bro.

Real elastic flex agents will stay in longer than others that only stay in the product long enough to install the part on the vehicle. With urethane products is not really required, the main objective is to keep the mills down {thickness} with every stage. After sanding the high build leave enough to have a good foundation with no cut throughs.Any questions don't hesitate    WIEDER

from the last time i cleared my handles, i thought i cleaned the gun very well, but when i went to prime a part from my truck yesterday, the primer had a tremendous amount of pitting on the part. would it be ok to submerse the whole gun in laquer thinner to soften up the crud thats in there and then try cleaning it again?

Soaking the whole gun will hurt some seals,I always took off the aircap and unscrew the fluid needle pull it out and wrench off the fluid tip.Soak the fluid tip and aircap in thinner and a pipe cleaner or like, clean out the fluid passage area behind the the fluid tip.If gravity type unscrew cup and clean out that part of the fluid passage. If you continue to paint have a clear ,color, sealer and primer gun,1.4mm-1.5mm tip for the first three mentioned and a 1.7mm for high build primer. This will slow down cross contamination, your pro painters have a half dozen guns for different based products.    WIEDER
