I bought a 67 rambler american for 200 dollars a couple weeks ago and a 472 for 100. I know they will go together ( i have a torch and welder) I was just wondering if anyone knows how to build a caddy engine? I can't get the stupid engine cover off the front of the crank so i took out the crank with everything still on it lol. OH yeah you CarCraft employees if you are reading this, I am in louisville ky, there is an elderly man that I buy all my AMC stuff from, he is always getting hard to find parts and has about 35+- cars on his property that range from mid 40's nashs too mid 70s ambassadors, he will let you go through and take a look too, and will sell everything

I am a fan of this power plant.  My first car was a 67 Caddy with a 429.  Love that smooth low end torque.  The 472/500cid motors are even better.
