I got a tip from my dad about a 65 nova ss sitting at a garage sale today so i went and looked at it.the car is sans engine and trans but solid bodywise for northern Illinois.it used to have a 283 but since its gone i had visions of my 327 nestled in betwen the fenders.DAMN for $1500 i thought it sounded like a nice deal, hell maybe cheaper since the guy is possiby needing cash for his upcoming wedding(i bet his fiance would take less!)

buy it. the fact that its missing the motor and trans is like a gift from god. And for 1500 hundred you can afford a good 5 spd to put behind your 327.

Provided the body isn't full of rust and looks like swiss cheeze, I would buy it. Sounds like you already have a powerplant to stuff in it so the engine thing is no big deal.

LOOK IT OVER ONE MORE TIME, CHECK THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS, AROUND THE BACK WINDOW, AND THE TRUNK REAL GOOD. IF IT SEEMS SOLID BUY IT. I GAVE 1000.00 FOR MY CAR WITH NO MOTOR OR TRANS BECAUSE IT WAS MOSTLY SOLID.

RACE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT

IT IS THE FASTS CAR ON THE STREET AS LONG AS IT STAYS IN THE GARAGE.
