I have nothing against newer trucks I prefer the older ones because of simplicity to work on no computer stuff to deal with. Plus there is usually more room in the engine compartments. Not to knock the looks of newer pickups but its still not the same feel like something of yesteryear. I have  friends with newer pickups they have a s-10 a r/t dakota and my 93 silverado they are cool but any mods usually require taking alot more stuff apart just to get to what you need too do. I would rather change heads on my 78 F-100 then do the same on a s-10 and have to deal with all the smog, a/c, vac lines and all the other plastic sheilds and crap thats my reasoning I guess.

I suppose it depends on where you live. Like here in Kansas, we dont have to worry bout smog police, so i suppose an older truck is all that can be built over there.

This is my '95 GMC Sierra. I call it a muscle truck and I think it looks the part.

I agree its the same rules here in nebraska but those guys in california sure have it easy with those rust free cars and trucks even though the smog police suck.

Until there is a decent truck mag I don't have a problem with it if they are done right.  After all its a hell of a lot easier to tub a truck

trucks can haul just as much ass as a car. look at the local track, how many s-10's do you see outrunning the cars? light weight full frame v-8 ready and rwd, what else do you need? again, the same concepts apply to cars as trucks in most cases (we were are concerned). plus, theres not a real mag for people who want to make their trucks go fast for cheap, mainly resto and 4x4.

OK FAST TRUCKS DONE RIGHT MAY BE OK. I HAVE A BUDDY THAT HAS A OLD FORD SWB THAT HE HAS DONE A COMPLEAT FRAME OFF RESTO ON. IT IS AS COOL AS ANY CAR I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. 392 STOKER, FUEL INJECTED WITH A MUSTANG COMPUTOR AND HARNESS. WIDED STOCK RIMS PAINTED BODY COLOR WITH DOG DISH HUBCAPS. IF THIS TRUCK IS NOT CAR CRAFT MATERIAL NOTHING IS.

The only way Trucks should be allowed is if.  Car Craft takes notes from Chevy Hi Per. AND RUNS THE OPOSITE DIRECTION AS FAST AS THEY CAN!!!!!!  DO not do anything that you cann't buy for less than $2,000.  Who really cares about a 30-50,000 dollar truck that the normal car craft joe cann't afford.  Build a truck that Freibuger owns but has forogt he owns.  That would be the perfect truck.  Remember the Jeep truck for FREE???  Hello, they  have been doing AMC build junk lately.  Keep the trend going and dump a 401 into it.  It must pull the front tires!

TRUCKS?! HELL YES!  I'm a little partial, growing up with a '55 Chevy 3100, two '55 GMCs (all 3 second series) and a '57 Cameo in the family.  Now I have three S-10s, wishing I had one of the GMCs instead.  The latest addition to the S-10 collection is referred to in my signature.

This damn 425 is a bear to fit in here... Why am I trying this?
