Where is the Disco Nova? So what if it was Freiburger's project,  he's got so much junk, I doubt he will notice. Just finish the stupid thing!

Did you notice when Frieburger became more of an executive at Primedia  that it disappeared? If CC wants it, Glad and his posse will have to go and get it. DF still has that Elco that he took with him the first time he left CC.

You are right, but I am getting tired of CC always complaining about the Disco languishing in their garage. I'm also tired of other cars disappearing so that Glad can sink more good money on painting the engine compartment to his Rambler. By the way, is a Rambler really worthy of a $700 under-hood paint job? Why not put the money into a junkyard small-block so that they can at least call it done?

I have really come to think of the staff of CC the same way I think of my buddies I wrench with. That being said I am dissapointed with the fact every staff member who leaves takes their project with them. Come on be a man and let the guys finish the thing with your input or help and then take the damn car.

When you guys do stuff like that the people who suffer are the readers who help pay your salaries. Freiburger do you think HOT ROD will ever do anything with that Nova. Let real car guys wrench on it.

It is like you guys have read my mind. Now McGean is gone and so is his Camaro! What is going on?! Like his new job at Hemmings is going to help get the job done. It is just going to sit for the next fifteen years. That project was also a good one that I wanted to see more of. I hope that they keep the Rambler and the Mustang, but they also absolutely have to keep going on the Disco. The guys at CC need to get their act together before the readers take Freiburger hostage. The guys at Novaresorce.com and Gen4novas.com need to get in on this.

All I know is that when I read about how many cars that the guys at CC have started and never finished I dropped a load in my shorts.  No wonder they can't finish anything, with that many cars you would need some serious free-time and a ton more money than what they make at CC,(HAHAHA).

remember, you're talking about guys that do feature articles on stock 14 second vettes, what do you expect?

You're right. That's lame. You know what is worse? Spending $1500 on a paint job and leaving the car alone for a year beacause a Rambler or a 14-second vette is more interesting.

Come on now!  That Rambler IS more interesting!

I've read scores of builds about "disco Novas" over the years.  Besides, a Nova is really not any different than a Camaro trapped inside of a shipping crate.  And we've seen hundreds of Camaros in "Camaro Craft" throughout the past forty years.

At least the Rambler hasn't been done a hundred times before (although Glad's build has been fairly conventional so far).

If its not TURBOCHARGED, you're not finished yet . . . .

You consider a tunnel rammed 360 conventional in a Rambler?

I agree. I can't believe that they don't have an engine for it.....How many small chevy builds have been in this mag? As for the Rambler, it would be cool to see some timeslips. All these little snips over the course of months about painting an engine compartment, painting a hood, putting gauges in a dash, could be summed up by Frieburger in one article.

Yeah, I'd like them to put that 350 with the mini blower in it. But at this rate, I'll probably put one in mine before them. Ha!

im sick of carcraft. not only do they do the same articles year after year(how to degree a cam, carb spacer adds 30hp, rpm vs. victor etc.), now theyve taken my favorite body style bowtie and kicked it to the curb. thats bullsh't. plus their mag is only like 50 pages as of late. crap like that makes it not even worth me taking the time to write out my subscription check. i think from now on if i want to read the one sentence they write in each issue about my favorite car, i'll do it while waiting in line at the grocery store, then not buy the mag.

good job CC. not.
