I have a '69 Nova that I want to transplant a Camero T-5 into.  The car is a factory 4-speed with a bench seat.  Has anyone ou there done such a conversion?  You Camero guys might be some help, the Nova and Camero have the same basic subframe.

im doing a lt1 backed by world class t5. what engine are you running. also Be carful when swapping flywheels and such im not shure how your engine is balenced so i dont know which direction to point you. but I do know some are balenced with a counterweight on the flywheel or flexplate and others are balenced on the crank by drilling the counterbalances,(intenerally or externally). One shure fire way to make shure you get it right is to match balence your stuff. for example you pull your original flywheel to put a new aftermarket flywheel and clutch in take your original and the new flywheel and have the new flywheel balenced to match the original flywheel. better safe than sorry. the wrong flywheel on the wrong engine will destory the lower end you'll have bearing shavings everywhere. good luck shoot me an email and i might be able to help some more with details Jonathanmaples@sbcglobal.net
