Next Project is to strip a donor car and take off all the front and rear control arms, clean them up and box them, get the 7B3 Upper control arms, and upgrade the front sway and add a rear. Put in 255/70/15's up front and 275/70/15's in the rear.
Also after 250k miles there is a surprising amount of original stock stuff on the car considering I'm in the NorthEast.  So I am going to replace all brake and gas lines, Brake Booster, roof, ect.
`

It may not be the fastest or prettiest, but i can pretend

It's nice to read the adventures of other B-body enthusiasts but I want to know if anyone's taken it to the next level: anyone stuck an LS1 in a Caprice yet? It's the project I'd like to do on my '89 Wagon. Right now it has the gas saver, dinky port, last o'the line 307 Olds in it and I'd really like to upgrade. Anyone?

I've got a G-body but an Early 80's Caprice Coupe is another car near & dear to me!
I grew up with my Grandfather, and his garage.
Later, when I'd visit in summertime that's what he drove. I couldn't count how many miles I spent in the passenger seat or leaning on the back of the 60-40 bench seat (or alseep on the back seat...seat belts, in the back? Nahhh!) in one of those cars.
Grandpa would definately approve of making one Better Than Stock. *G!*

Well I guess they're too busy blogging and twittering and crap to read the forum,  we are such old news.

Good news is I got alot done on mine,  used the factory exhaust and 94 gastank and lines.

bad news is the good oil cooler from the 89 LO5 , won't work due to the convertor hitting the filter, so I'm gonna have to use the 94 oil cooler and have my 89 lines crimped on so I can use my external cooler instead of the crappy in radiator cooler.
Plus I figure the reason the 94-06 guys have such problem with the oil cooler lines leaking at the crimps is GM was cheap and used aluminum crimps instead of the steel ones like on my 89 , they don't leak a drop.
