ok, well you add 5000 for the roush supercharger, plus the 25000 for the car its self. I think its easier to make an older car go faster for less, heck even make it to work and back no problem because you can afford to spend a little for a car in decent shape already. so you spend  an extra 5000 to make 415 hp. Car craft made 30 h.p for less than just the mustang supercharger cost. sounds like alot better deal to me..

Well, given that you're the Procharger fan, I'm surprised you missed this one:

"11 Second Bolt On!
"The new HO Intercooled ProCharger system for ‘05-‘06 3V Mustang GT’s produces a 70-75% power gain on stock motors running pump gas, with 9-10 psi of intercooled boost. This means stock motors typically produce 460+ RWHP, and are able to run well into the 11‘s with their standard 3,800 lb loaded weight."

"Thanks to the industry's coolest charge air temperatures and largest power gains, no other supercharger system for the '05-'06 GT even comes close. With ATI's patented self-contained supercharger oiling, exclusive dedicated 8-rib drive belt and high performance air-to-air intercooler system, unmatched power is delivered with maximum reliability and relatively simple installation. The HO Intercooled System is 100% complete, with fuel injectors and innovative Diablosport Predator® handheld programmer included. A Tuner Kit without fuel injectors and the programmer is also available, as well as a Serpentine Race Kit with the D-1SC ProCharger and a larger 800+ horsepower custom intercooler."

Thus, you could be driving a luxurious Mustang "well into the 11s" ON CREDIT THIS MONTH, instead of learning the endless joys of welding in patch panels and waiting, waiting, waiting for parts.

Of course, I'm not surprised you missed Kenne-Bell's mild 523 h.p. hit on a stock 3V http://www.kennebell.net/media/articles/MODS4MODS_3Vpart2.pdf

There are plenty of others jumping into the 2V/3V/4V market with scores of other power adders (many a better bang for the buck than the Roush charger)

I hasten to point out that Jeff Smith's dream Vortec isn't remotely emissions legal in any EFI-equipped vehicle, makes no provisions for off-boost fuel economy and unnecessary intake heat build-up (who cares about that? Gas is only $3/gallon), won't fit under most stock hoods . . . .

Most Car Crafters are better off building a newer Mustang ON CREDIT than chasing Jeff Smith's passe' low-buck SBC dream a paycheck at a time.
