Hey why so harsh on the high school kid, every one got a start somewhere, long ago I lost intrest because of some of the crotchity mechanics I worked with and it sticks with you positive influence goes a long way.Some day he may be your machinist. Besides think about those budget constrants, girls, gas, vices, HS is an important time of life and its not cheap, yeah knowledge is power and things can be done on the cheap for any car import or domestic, though magazines would rather sell new parts for their sponsors then go in depth on making the most of what you have and understandably so, Why not toss him some ideas on how to make his 454 haul *## Just a thought I like the nova better of the two. just my 2$ I guess in the computer age there is no cents key.

You know what, your right. I shouldn't be so bull headed when another opinion comes around, but I guess its just how I am. I'll try and keep that down. Least you kept a straight head about it. I live in a small town called Lane. Ottawa is about 30 minutes away, and Topeka is another hour. I've was going to head up there, but my shift linkage rubbed a hole in the drivers side header(guess thats what happens when you move from small to big-block), and haven't got me a new set yet.(The ones on it are bout 10 years old from my grandpa's camaro). I plan to ho up the first day their open, not only to find what I run, but as part of my senior social studies project about how suspensions work.

Ya, I know the Big Shot kit is adjustable, I was just stating the max HP's you can get out of it. And actually (I still need to call NOS) I think the 350HP jets will be to big for my small block, I was reading about how you can put to much nitrous in your motor, basically the motor can't flow what your dumping in, so the nitrous builds up in the intake and well you pretty much know what going to happen. I know the 250HP jets will work fine, but I have to see if the 350hp jets will work. And I have a lot of friends out there that are just like you, they don't like to tell. It's like they have something special or something. My one friend even tells people that his motor is a 454 when really it is a 540ci motor. To me that's lame, but when running for money, you don't want people to know what you have or what your running, cause if they know they probably won't race you. I on the other hand don't give a rats ass if some know's what I'm running, I'm not out to make money, so the fact is I tell you everything about my motor and when I run it at the track I'll tell you what it runs. The fact is you can have all the HP in the world but if it isn't getting to the ground it's worthless. That's why I run a 15.5 inch wide tire on my car, and why it is ladder barred and coilovered. I didn't just build a motor that makes all sorts of HP, I built a car that can handle it. In that pic you guys have some nice cars, and there is one thing you can say is if they have big blocks or small blocks. And maybe one day we can hook up and run them or just have a beer.

You know, Invader hasn't reponded in a long while. I was beginning to wonder why he hasn't, then I realized, he's probably in jail.

I bet your right. He's probably playing "Anal Invader" right now. Well at least he found somewhere to park his "hot rod". Poor Invader giving a little and taking a little, that's what makes the time go by.
