Why not see what kind of HP you can get out of the 6 cylinder befor you trash it. You just had that turbo'ed Falcon, and that was way more interesting than another big nutty V 8 car (not that I don't love those too!) Pour the nitrous to it, get one of the new Fordsixparts.com heads on it and see what it will do. How about a monthly article on six cylider performance? Build that aluminum slat six, hell go back and get that Jetsons looking Valiant and build that, why not, your building a Rambler after all.

Yeah, I like the 6 cyl idea for now. There's plenty room for a turbo or supercharger, or just see what trick 6cylinder normally aspirated mods can do(Dare to be Different "Slammed Rambler" in March Hot Rod). I'll look cool, be light weight, handle with some bigger vintage styled wheels and a drop and pertain to many starting off crafters out there. Besides, it's your project car. You can and will change it later on anyway.

I agree-build the six. I have a 65 Mustang 6 cylinder coupe sitting in my driveway right in front of my V8 Nova. I plan on making it a nice driver, keeping the six and working on the suspension. I would love to see this kind of build-up. I'm sure a lot of other "have-a-six-but-can't-afford-to-drop-in-an-eight-yet" guys would too. Besides, everybody knows how to build an eight. It takes real guts to be tough with a six.
