When it's dead it's dead is it a single stage solid color w/no clear? If so a cleanerwax w/mild abrasive applied on a regular basis will maintain a gloss until you rub thru the paint eventually, also 2nd step apply a poly or teflon based wax to stretch out between cleanerwax applications.any ques.maybe i can help WIEDER

To WIEDER: just curious what kind of gun you prefer for clearcoat and tip size. I shoot a sata 3000 jet rp with a 1.4. lays it out great but overkill for base. also wondering your thoughts on a good baser.

Sand it down and buff it out. You'll have to be real careful not to cut through to the base coat.
