Does anyone remember the CC build up of the Pro Street Malibu? Any chance that article is online somewhere? It was a '78 or later metric framed Malibu, they took the body off and narrowed the frame in the back & tubbed the car. I always wanted to build one of those metrics that way. Fast foward to 2008 and my son has a mid 80's Monte SS that he wants to build and I have a solid metric frame that I boxed and rewelded all the seams on it thats left over from my stockcar days. I'd like to narrow the frame and hang a narrowed 9" Ford from it while he's still driving the Monte around then lift the body off and cut out the factory wheel wells and tin it up as they did in the CC Malibu. The CC Malibu was silver with yellow and orange graphics as I recall and had a blown V6. If you know of a link to it I would appreciate it!
