so my old roommate has all but finished off the tires on his 89' bird..
thing is now we can't decide what he should put on next..
we thought of the following but have been having trouble finding in factory sizes
cooper cobras b/f goodrich comp T/A's. (have these been out of production for a while and no one told me?)
and of course we considered the classic Radial T/A's..but we're thinking the trade off in the rain for a tire that is a bit dated...well, it may not be worth it..
this car sees ALOT of summer driving, a bit of 1/4 mile time, hard street driving, and sliding in the rain (hoping to cure that somewhat)...
anyone got suggestions and sizes to try?

I would suggest going to tirerack.com. You can input the size after selecting "tires " and they will provide all manuf. and prices. Then select reviews from the ones you like. It gives you good starting point and prices.

Comp TAs are discontinued...but I had a set of its replacements, the G-Force T/A's, on my IROC. I had the all weather versions, the KDWS, and I really liked them.
I have Radial TAs on my Cutlass...those are more suited for a muscle car rather than a sports car in my opinion.
