Howdy,
I'm Spedponcho and I have a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville (nonsupercharged) with the L36. I would like some ideas for a performance upgrade. Let me tell you, it might be a bit hard to find some that are fairly good. So far, I haven't found anything good. I think you would need to look at the Grand Prix community for upgrades since they share the same motor but avoid chips and programmers, most of the time, they change the computers in each brand. I found that out when I saw a Hypertech power programmer on tv for 3.8L. They said it only applies to 01-04 Impalas etc.
IF you find some good ones, let me know, I want to know about them too.

A guy I know here in central Ohio just sold his a year or two ago, but I think it was newer. I saw him run high 11's on a moderate shot of nitrous, but it looked kinda dorky driving to & from the track with the bigger sticky tires on the wrong end. I'll try to get him to post his "secrets" here. He had trouble finding stuff, too.

I have a 94 Bonneville SE (collecting dust), and I've used
www.bonnevilleclub.com
for repair info.
I'm not sure how identical your 3800 would be to a Bonneville 3800, but check it out.
