   Indeed the 350 Olds diesel has 3" mains. The main problem was that they blew head gaskets because they didnt have water seperators on them. All Olds engine after 76 had windowed mains and the 403 is certainly worth building with its 4.351 bore and short 3.385 stroke. There are a few guys running low 11's with these engines. Infact the current SS/MA record holder is a 4000 lb 403 powered Olds 98 running 11.21 @ 118. So they work!

1)1978 mustang cobra II. $1000. leaves 5000 for parts and 500 for beer and tylenol


2)any mid 80's mustang 302 or 5.0. 1500 leaves---


3)t-bird turbo coupe. 2500


4) turbo a 4 cyl stang yourself. $500 dollars car. $50 junkyard turbo. lotsa leftover to figure out how to make it work.(beer and tylenol)

     You talking about the CC project car? Yeah that thing is a joke. I had one of those cars. They're great drivers but slow as crap no matter what you do to them. Unless you spend a fortune on them.
