Now - don't get scared off. I just am trying to confirm something that seems to be the case, but I am a engine geek and not a full tilt body man.
I don't know if anyone read the blog about the Pontiacs, but if you did you will remember that the one guy with the '64 Catalina (I think) and me with my '67 Catalina (for sure)were BSing about the shortage of parts for our cars. Basic parts like patch panels, floor pans and trunk pans are non-existant. Enter Ebay. I talked to a Pontiac supplier on Ebay and he told me that many of the floor pans and trunk pans for like the '66-'68 Impala are physically identical to the '66-68 Pontiac and Oldsmobile pans. I desperately need a trunk pan for my car.
Long story short, I found a supplier for the Impala pans, and they are virtually identical to my Catalina (at least in appearance). The drain plugs are in the correct places and the overall shape looks right. Even if it wasn't identical, it is close enough to cut and fit (I think).
Does anybody know or does anybody have an interchange book for GM patch panels and floor pans? If this is correct, it is a major portion of what needs to be done to my car (bodywise).
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Bowser

What is their return policy? if they accept returns, just buy it and if it's way off, return it. Also there's nothing a little steel and a welder can't fix. (other than PMS)
Mopar or Nocar

as long as your not looking for a #s matching fix and the dimensions are pretty close i couldnt imagine why it wouldnt work. and if your good with a welder you could work a miracle and have it look factory fresh. good luck
