I have a 78 Buick electra I have been slowly working on. I have an edelbrock int. Holly carb, accel ign. The exh upgrades are next. So Far I have true duals with 40 series flowmasters. I am trying to find some headers for this thing.

The odds of someone already having a set of direct fit headers are pretty low. But I am wondering if a set of headers off another car will work? maby trans am headers for example. I am trying to avoid have to have a set custom made. The one quote I got for a set of custom headers was in the $1,500 range.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Is that a B-body like the caprice and delta 88?  If so I've been trying to find something that will work as well and so far haven't come close.

I've heard of people using G-body header's, because this chassis is very similar, though larger. I would ask the tech guy, though. he will have a better idea of what will fit.
