Might I suggest some other borards that may suit your taste a little better:

www.hotrod.com

www.wrxfanatics.com

www.hyundaiperformance.com

The last thing that we need in here is another domestic vs import or 4 cyl vs 8 cyl debate. Look around. Theres been plenty of them. It gets old after a while. While we all enjoy performance cars of all kinds, this is not the board to trash V-8 american cars.

Before you reply with the typical response, no I do not have a mullet, my family tree is not linear, and I am educated.

First of all, l I do not insult people in that manner.  I respect everyone.

Second, I do respect American cars, I have 2 (00 SS-SLP EDITION and a very fare 93 FIREHAWK LT-4).  I did have a WS6, but sold it to help build my 240.  It had issues anyway, (too much juice)

I love the 4th gen F-Bodies, but I like road racing better than qtr mile.  It is more competitive and is actually alot harder.  Just the cars needed to do it successfully are mostly imports, due to IRS, abs, four wheel disk brakes and rear wheel drive (all 240sx's are rear wheel drivee) are standard on them.  My car is a 91 and it has more performance qualities than a 88 vette.  There are only a few American cars that can handle the suspension abuse.  My 91 240SX handles just as well if not better that a 911, I am not saying I am faster, just the handling compared to either of my F-Bodies is night and day.  I am just a little pee-ode at the people that talk trash about imports and don't give them a chance because they are "not Amercian".  I am Amercian, born in Tennessee, and I have domestic and import muscle.  The 00 (SS) is the slowest of the bunch, my wife usually drives it.  My 240 is the fastest in the qtr and road track, but on the highway, my 93 Hawk has a top speed of at least over 170, the dash reads 160, it buries it in 4th gear and I have a T-56.  Just to all out there, don't put down the car from across the sea, they have evolveed into phenominal machines.  The Skyline is being released into the US in the fall of 2006, corvettes, beware.

You beat a Z28 in an Omni?  Dude, you are my hero.  I've always felt that beating "fast" cars in my 4X4 winter beater was as good as it gets, but an Omni is so much better.

Beer, it's what's for dinner.

What's up with THIS forum...........

As I see it, Car Craft caters to domestic performance.  What are all you ricers doing here?  Not to say you're doing something wrong by liking those types of cars.... but  ..... what are you HERE for?

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason your 240 is faster than you SS is because you put all your time and money into the 240. Put that money into the SS and then maybe you'd shut up.
