Have you heard about Chrysler going green with biofuel and flex fuel in some of their vehicles

^^ You mean like GM and Ford are?  Yeah.  What about it?

You hear about their plans to ax the Viper?

THe Viper has never impressed me. Compared to the Corvette, overweight and overpriced. A base C6 could clean a stock Viper's clock, not to mention what a Z06 could do.

If Chrysler had any sense, they'd shrink the car a bit, can that P.O.S. V-10 and build a 426 version of the new HEMI for power, making about 550 HP. Make the car similiar in wieght to the Corvette (within 200 lbs.) and make the price competitive with the Corvette, maybe they'd sell enough to justify its existence.

Actually the current Viper beats the Z06 in every measurable performance category...despite weighing 350 lbs more.  It does however have an insane 100 HP advantage...and BARELY beats the Vette at that.

But I'd much prefer the Corvette to the Viper.

where did you hear they are getting rid of the viper from . But speaking of HEMI they have two Hybrid HEMI's that are coming out, and a certified green dealership that is currently under construction in florida.

GM's 6.0L dual mode hybrid is on Wards 10 Best Engines of 2008.  Look for it in full size SUV's and pickups to start.  Offers 21/22 mpg (city/highway).

I way prefer the Viper to the vette myself. I did like the older coupe bodystyle much better however.
