I'm pretty sure that no rear drive tranny is a bolt up swap. Get a hold of Trans-dapt or advanceed adapters and they could tell you if it's even feasible.

Someone bolted a T5 to a Duratec V6.

I don't know if the older SHO V6s have the same bellhousing pattern as the newer Duratec DOHC V6s, but, then again, it's not really so hard to find a Duratec in the U-Pull lots.

The 3.0L DOHC Duratec V6 is rated at 200HP and the 3.0L SHO V6 is rated at 220HP.

yeah, but is the duratec durable enough for 8000 rpm or does it sport aluminum block and heads like the sho motor?

if your looking for a standerd i think there was some 5 speed rangers that had a v6 in them you could use for that app. im not shure so dont qoute me on that thou. also it depends on what your doing with it i wouldnt do any drag with it but everyday street driving it should hold up fine.(assuming u dont drive on the street like u do on the track)
