Wassup guys.... I bought a 16 in. fan at a local swap meet. I thought hooking it up would be a breeze but to my suprise it isn't. The way i did it was to run a pos. & neg. from the battery to the switch inside, then run a pos and neg. to the fan. I also put a fuse link from the battery post which is connected to the pos that runs to the switch. Can someone guide me on this? I really dont want to go thru that hassle of putting relays and all that. I'll appreciate it. Also by the way I doubt I'll make it to the Anti-Tour this year. How bout 2 every year? Oh well may be next time...
Thanx! -DRE

Run only the battery positive to the switch, then out to the fan. Run a ground wire from the fan motor to a body or battery ground. No need to have both wires run to a switch. Did you connect the fan to the battery before mounting it to make sure it operates?

Get yourself an electric fan wiring kit WITH thermostat. They are cheap and the extra insureance of a thermostat could save your motor from you forgetting to turn it on. Small price to pay for a big comfort....
THERE ARE 2 KINDS OF CHEAP PARTS..THOSE YOU SCORE FOR A CHEAP PRICE AND THOSE THAT ARE CHEAP MADE.

Ill second the thermo switch as well. What was wrong with the stock clutch fan though? I know some here might disagree, but ive seen alot of stock clutch fans work a hell of alot better than some electric fans out there.
