SEEMS LIKE THE AFTERMARKET PARTS WORLD IS ON A NEVER ENDING GROWTH. COMPARED TO NOT THAT LONG AGO, WE HAVE A WIDE SELCTION OF PERFORMANCE PARTS WITH MANY OPTIONS. I read ads for pro comp heads, cranks, rods, ect, ect. And its not just pro comp there is alot of new cumers to the aftermarket. They have some great prices and seem like the quality is good. Legend cranks sell a sbc 383 crank for the same price as a scat but the legend is rated for 650 hp vs. scats 550. pro comp heads have flow rates that can be compared to AFR. But they sell for half the price. Has anyone used these new brands????? Has anyone heard of bad things with these newer brands???????????? There once was a day when you got what you paid for. But now days its a diferent story with manufacturing advancements, gobal shipping, ect ect. Have we came to a time in history were you can get quality for less?? Can a $800 set of heads be just as good as $1400 heads?? Will a legend crank rated higher than a scat cast crank really "out perform" some of the well knowen brands??? Just wondering other people thoughts on this stuff.

THERE ARE 2 KINDS OF CHEAP PARTS..THOSE YOU SCORE FOR A CHEAP PRICE AND THOSE THAT ARE CHEAP MADE.
