I am thinking about selling my 69 vette 472 BBC and matching number heads and parts to make it a long block. The block is an original 4-bolt main and has been cleaned, checked, magnafluxed, .040 overbore 4.290, and lined honed  The motor is fresh and All numbers on block and heads are ORIGINAL and have not been re-stamped. Neither block nor heads have been decked.  I had a guy offer me $6550.00 do you think this is a good deal or could I get more?

For a guy trying to correctly restore an original '69 big block car, if your engine falls in his date range your motor is a pretty good deal.

I figured I am just going to keep it and finish building my car with it instead of going to a 468
