Has anyone else had issues with the Carcraft Palmcost location in regards to subscription? I am prepaid well into this millenium but still get constant offers from various sources . My specific issue is a "GIFT" subscription from late last year that never arrived. The suggested remedy was a new introductory subscription for I believe 9 issues for $14, after I was told I had no subscription.Until I provided a copy of the label affixed to my latest issue.
I have sent nearly a dozen replys to the same questions and wonder if I am alone . It seems like a "Bait and Switch " job with no straight answers. Since I have paid newsstand prices in the past I clearly dont want something for nothin but at least whst I agree to pay for .I have enjoyed this mag for over 25 years and look forward to what I feel Has been the most real life car info source around .I am not trying to trash the subscription service but appreciate a straight answer .
Many of the CarCraft advertisers get my $$ on a regular basis and I get the service we all expect. Our magazine service should be the same.
If I am alone please excuse me because I do suffer from C.O.M.S. ( Crotchety Old Man Syndrome ).

It typically takes about 6-8 weeks for a US subscription and 8-12 weeks for an international subscription to start, which would explain why you haven't gotten your gift subscription yet.

If you have any problems, just call Subscriber Care at (800) 678-8012 and that should solve your problems. Unfortunately, I don't have any other answers other than that, since I don't work with the subscription people, but give 'em a call. They're usually pretty friendly on the phone, and you don't have to go through any machines to talk to a real person! Just keep your subscription number/mailing label handy and you shouldn't have a problem.

Thank you for your suggestions and comments. Competence seems to be the issue not how friendly they are
1) I live in the good old USA so international is not an issue.
 2) the gift subscription is not for me .
 3) I have corresponded with the folks in sunny florida a dozen times and get a different heartbeat each time .
4)As stated they claim to have no record of my extension order or my even having an account. I have had one for over 18 years and even provided my mailing label from the latest edition.
I was just wondering if this is unique or if other readers have had these problems.

                   Thank you
