hey everyone. last night i fired up my 385 for the first time. man o man it was sweet. almost as good as my first kiss. this car has been a 2 year project. i am moving to utah in a couple of weeks and needed to at least finish the engine and drive train before i drag it to SLC. the engine was on an engine stand for the better part of a year and a half next to the dining room table. boy i tell you my wife is the best. for letting me keep it in the house. anyway we fired it up last night and it was loud as hell with uncapped headers. just for back ground its a .040 over 3.75 crank, 4340 h beam rods (5.7), lunati small base circle 50169 solid roller, dart pro 1 200's 64cc, victor jr intake, and a quick fuel tech 750. all mallory ignition (comp 9000 distributor, highfire VI cd ignition, promaster coil). here is the video of it on my cardomain page. it was so loud it over rode the videocameras microphone so the audio is kinda crappy. oh yeah nevermind my happy dance. once you put as much into a project as I did this one, you will do the same. enjoy
