I Hope you can help me on my project guys. (Excuse my poor english), i have a 98 camaro, with the LS1, it has headers, flowmaster, and 3:73, recently i bought a 02 engine, that in the specs say that has the LS6 intake. also bought a hot cam kit, but i dont know if a have to replace the timing chain, and dont know what to do with the egr. what do you recommend.

Buy a crane cams, double roller billet fully adjustable timing chain set when you put the cam in! It will definitly be worth the money and if you degree that cvam you will find power, especially up top. Do this now while you have the motor out of the car, cause it aint no fun doing that motor twice. Eliminate the egr with block off plates and buy a diablosport tuner, they have options already  in them for no egr. very nice stuff, and you can get a custom tune with thier software at a later time
