hey all, I am putting together my first stroker,350 .030 over, what piston do I use? I tried a sealed power 345 NP but it sticks up .065 above block. what gives? Thanks Willy

www.jegs.com has the number 844-H860CP30 listed for the 383 stroker with 5.7 inch rods.

.065" out of the block? You have a problem there that probably isn't related to the piston. A stacking of tolerances with the decking, rod length, and stroke length probably caused this. It is a large mistake though, you may be able to rectify it with a combination of a slightly shorter piston height and very thick copper head gaskets.

Sounds like you've got too long a connecting rod. Did you buy a dedicated stroker kit, or buy all the parts seperately?

how much did u take off the deck of the block hopefully its still standard or zero next what size are the rods 5.7 or 6.0 and third what compression ratio ar you trying to get you may want to look at j.e. / srp and fourth what heads do you plan to run what size r the cumbustion chambers and lastly how much lift (intake/exhuast) will the camshaft have
