I have been an avid reader of CC for many years and have built my share of street machines. From a 69 Mustang fastback when I was sixteen to a 73 Camaro when I was in the Army. I have had my share of Chargers, Firebirds and Chevelles but they have all been drag cars or straight street muscle. I want to do something different this time around so I thought I would throw it out for discussion!

I have posted here before about my latest project, a 81 Pontiac Trans Am with an Olds 455 I am starting restoration on. Well I thought what about building this one for streetability but more toward the middlerange to top end... Like a NASCAR maching rather than a drag car.

So what do you think CC faithful? Where would you go with this? What would you do?

I dig the idea, but vintage Trans Am seems more appropriate than NASCAR per se. Either way itll be a bitchin looking ride.
