I'm sure everybody hates it when this pops up, but I am trying to find information from an old issue. Back in the 1980's there was a guy featured in several issues that built IMSA style fender extensions for 1969 Camaro/Firebirds. I know he was in more than one issue, and sold these extensions also. These weren't just flares, but covered 3/4 of the fender and extended probably 5" off the stock fender.  Any help would be great.

that first started happening back in the early 70's...

i don't know if the big banana corvette brings up any memorys...

people have done something simular with replacement steel quarter panels just recently..  and it looks great.... gives the car  "babys got back look" and allows some really  wide rubber under the back...

that car is probably on the web site somewere.. it was a dark colored chevelle...as i recall.... 64 to 67...in CC or HR..

filling out the fenders with carved foam will allow you to make you own by covering it with fiberglass and pulling a mold off  of it...ect....
