Ok maybe they do the same articles again once in a while, but they also add new information to the subject. I've learned something new every time i read the articles. What i like about car craft is they do thier own work unlike the other car mags where they send their projects out for other people to do the work, then they write about what the OTHER people did. Thats just my opinion though.

ok be honest here how many of you start a car and never finish it and it ends up in a friends barn  for me its been a 1969 amx hemi swap that i got with a hemi in the back seat  the guy i got it from started it in the early 80s untill he gave up i also finally gave up and found someone to buy  it  when we can reach an agreement on a price  an offroader ford bronco.....well its sitting off the road rear engne powered gremlin i ripped it up and ended up selling most of it for 1500 before the rest was scraped (the cut up remains of the frame a bent up front bumper) or the 1970 buick thats been sitting in my driveway for over a year  and i know people who are worse so their not alone

It's dusgusting! Those losers probably spend all there time fartin' around an message boards, not working on their cars.

I like Car Craft.  They are low brow hot rodding.

CC should definitely throw one of their small blocks in the Nova. I like the Rambler, but it would be nice to see it at the track,so we know if all that effort was worth it.I've never been a real big fan of the 80's Vette's,but they are cheap nowadays, and that's basically the Car Craft way.I'm sure they could find some speed parts for it on ebay (not that I don't build models too,but..)I guess people could give me flak about my 73 'Cuda.I've had it 12 years, started a serious restification about 10 years ago.The rust is fixed (quarters, outer wheelhouses, trunk exstensions, and a big hole in the C pillar vinyl tops suck!) The 340 is fresh, cammed, compression, etc. and I swapped in a 4 speed. It would be painted by now if my '69 Charger hadn't followed me home. That one needs work too ( a previous owner was driving it with no PS pump,I found half a rebuild kit for the box in the trunk) Then I tore my shoulder up at work,so until the surgery/comp debacle is done they both have to sit. That really sucks.I've got plenty of time, but physically I can't mess with them right now,and the little money I've made selling from my parts stash (that sucks too) has to go for food and the gas bill!Selling the cars is not an option though! I just sold my '87 Cutlass and didn't want to do that!I know it probably sounds like I'm making excuses, but I'm sure some of you guys know the state I'm in here.

When I was a kid,I wanted to work at the junkyard when I grew up.

Maybe CC or Freiburger should have some sort of "openhouse" and allow reader to participate in magazine projects such as this to complete. wouldn't it be a hoot to see Joe Average getting a little ink each month?

Being in a service oriented business myself, I realized that the actual product in the whole scheme of things is just a little blip on radar. There's so much going on behind the scences to get it there.

Letting other people work on the Diso is a cool idea, but then you might get people people who like to read (Ugh.) Popular Hot Rodding and they will mess it up. In the end of the latest issue of Car Craft there is a photo of Freiburger working on an engine in what looks to be the Disco Nova, maybe they are getting it done. Hopefully they will put the Disco in articles instead of just letting Freiburger hoard it.

Over at CarJunkieTV.com now, still in the start up stages so it maybe a while before something gets done with it.

Just a quick update... the Disco Nova is currently sitting outside my shop in Enterprise Alabama... it's next on the agenda...

Tonya and I are going to try a bit of drag racing with it....
