Hello all, long-time reader of the mag, first-time poster in the forum.  Just recently purchased a mildly rodded 1957 Buick Special Wagon, with factory drums intact on all four corners.  Anyone have any ideas on what chassis I could use for a donor for a front-disc conversion?  Already have a dual power master installed with a proportioning valve, and the car stops, but at 4000lbs + I'd sure like to have some more stopping power.  Thanks!

Hi,
did you get any replies to your question?
I have a Buick Century 1957 and I have also installed a dual power master cylinder/single booster, but the brakes are hard, so I was thinking of a front disc brake conversion, but have not found any source for this yet.
Have you come across anything, and what is the status of your conversion?
