My car seriously smells and I don't know what it is.  I just smells like body odor and I can't get rid of the smell.  I've tried febreeze and some air freshners, but those are only temporary.  Is there anything I can do, or do I just have to get it washed somewhere else?

The smelly seats are from the body oils from either you or the previous owner, and yes it is hard to get rid of.
The over the counter smell good stuff is that, it makes it smell good for a while then goes away. Try getting your seats steam cleaned by a professional, the heated steam will remove the body oils and the smell, then spray them with your favorite scent and drive in an un-smelly car. I restore and clean interiors for a living and have ran across this a lot.

this reminds me of a relly gross story that happened to my sister. she had the same problem and could not figure out how to get rid of the smell..until she looked under the passenger seat and found her son's dirty diaper!!!
