First off Good Rag, Most of the stuff  you guys write about is right on, But I knew one of these day this subject would come up and I thought you guys of any rag out there would get it right! Wrong! Ya didnt pass the test!! you say that the 67-69 sport coupe , But it is 67-70 sport coupe, I have a 1970 sport coupe with the same roof as the 69, I am not real computer literate so I dont know how to post a picture of it, But it does,, Thanks for the good rag and write on!!  Cool Jim ST Paul MN

Sport coupes had the fastback roofline; Custom Coupes had the concave rear window and more notchback look to them. Caprices all had the concave rear window from 66-70, Impalas could get either.

First I love the Junkyard Crawl! Second, Have you ever been to Texas? There are some premo projects everywhere you look. If you cant find a yard its because they are all out of town, just ask the locals. Heck I know of an old gas station that has about twenty pre-60/50 rolling cars for sale. So come on over an visit us, we promise not to hang ya. (Ha Ha)baddog Greenville TX.

You really have to watch the junkyard crawl. Alot of the facts are just plain wrong. Someone doesn't do their research very well.

Can you give me an example of something that was wrong in a junk yard crawl article?

The one a year or so back about fox mustang rearends and five lug swaps. It was full of wrong info and left out quite a bit of details.

Ok good to know, but how long do you want a tech article? You can't have a 50 page in depth article on rearend swaps.

You're right it is a small section to put a lot of tech into. I just got burned because I relied on some of the info and measurements that were said to be for all years and they were not. Again I guess I should have researched further before I took the article for gospel.
