i believe that the charger is a intermideate not a full size. i would pick charger basically because of the dukes of hazzard thing.

im gm all the way but a charger is a big car man its at least as big as a monte carlo if not a little bigger.as for the new ones the challenger is way more badass than the charger.

well the monte was built on a chevelle chassis. it did have a huge hood tho. idk then any big mopar guys that could verify this. yeah the new challenger looks nice. the new charger looks nothing like a old charger. it has 4 doors. no charger was made with 4 doors

i will agree with u on all that but they did make 20 of the 67 l88s. mabey over 200 in over all production run but only 20 in 67. 67 has different heads than 68 and 9 so they r dif engies. i not trying to get in ur face about it just saying. i just always thought charger was intermediate. not arguing with ya.

Charger was always a mid size car... Challenger was a pony car but also a mid-size car....

Actually they are very close - I own a 68 Charger and my brother has a 66 Chevelle
The Charger is slightly longer - mostly because of the large gap between the radiator support and the grille... hidden headlights add about a foot to the car. - the length difference is < 1'
