hey guys,

just had some ideas for the mag. i'd like to see some dyno tests on some of the new products out there. how about real info on stuff like that new switchable coil from accel. its seems like a sound idea but kinda gimmicky. i would love to see how to build a homebrew turbo (ford please!!!haha!) with junkyard parts, and how to do the piping. anyway, love the rag, keep up the great work!

Freiburger wrote that CC was going to do a budget ("homebrew") SBF 5.0 single turbo way back in May '05?

Over a year later, CCMAG (Douglas "the Kenosha Kid" Glad) reported "They [sic] guy involved with the build got injured in a car accident and that set up a series of events that prevented the project from moving forward. I will not name names. Let's leave it at that. The turbo is on the floor of my garage waiting for the new plan."

Since October 2003, we've begged and pleaded for a "homebrew" turbo project (see, "We're Not Rich, But We Aren't Stupid").   But a "real world" turbo project in CC apparently has about as much chance as ROSEANNE BARR modeling for "On the Rack" or ANNA NICOLE SMITH coming back to life to head up MENSA . . . .

here i am again,

i want to see the dyno run of two cams of the same spec, except one is flat tappet, and the other is a roller. i think that would be cool. im wanting to build a 351w and want to know if i can justify the upgrade.

I know this is not the world of most readers but I would really like to see you guys build a big inline six engine up just to see how much power you can get out of it. Clifford perforance has a lot of high performance parts for about any make. I personaly would like to see you guys turbo charge it with an efi set up but thats just me. I think you could get a lot of bottom end torque out of it so you could go more for a daily driver concept. I really dought you will just because you guys think v8s are the only way to go. I have seen 302 fords in your mag so why not a 300 would be my question to you. I would also like to see you test the new pertronics second strike igniton to see if it really has any benifents.
