I need a set of springs for a small Rambler American. I picked up a 64 American American body to build an AMC ProStreet car out of, but it has no front springs. It has already has been swapped to disc brakes from a Spirit. There are no coils in the front so I have nothing to measure and go by. I don't know if Gremlin or AMX springs will fit I need help! ![]()

I have a 64 Rambler American 220 401 parts car. I own a 67 Rambler American 220 232 six. I don't need the front springs on my parts car, mine are in good shape. I live in Modesto, Ca. If your still looking for them, I have them. Let me know, and we can work something out.

I am 95% confidant that all AMC's used coil springs with a 5.0" diamater, and that this diamater was used by no other American manufacturer. I believe that all AMC springs are interchangable because of this, but I haven't verified this personally
