Hello my fellow gearheads I have a question.... Now that I have my car kind of going, I was wondering if there were like gatherings of members of carcraft besides the anti-tour. Here in L.A. or anywhere else. I would like to go see some nice rides and learn from the experienced veterans.  

Frisco's Diner in Downey has a show every Wednesday evening. You can go tomorrow. The cute girl car hops still wear roller skates and mini skirts

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank has had a show every Friday nite since 1949.

Both of these shows start around 4 pm and pretty much finished by 10 pm. Bring a pen and paper and ask the guys there about other shows. I've found these two shows very friendly and relaxed.  

What part of LA are you in? ive been to Frisco's alot as its close to my house, and I used to hit up Bob's every Friday night when i had more time. I havent been out there in a while, i miss it.

Saturday mornings you have the Donut Derilects. Its not a bad show, but theres alot of Billet checkbook rods out there. nothing wrong with that necessarily, but be prepared for it.

Im down for a cruise in. My Cougar has been chunking U Joints lately though so its down at the moment till i can find out why its killed 3 this year so far.  

I live in the Florence-Firestone Part of L.A. Thats what they call it now. I'll probably be at frisco's mañana if nothing comes up. As for the cruising... I'm down with that only I need some couple more things to do like the alignment. The interior could wait 'til I get my floor patch up. I'll send u a private message to see whats up.  

thats cool. I might swing by Frisco's tonight too. Ill be the fat guy with a runny nose in a black Ford Ranger. i dont want to drop a U Joint on the way there in the Cougar... so thats gonna have to wait.
