Loved the Vega in this months issue. Has to be the cleanest one I've seen in twenty plus years. Then again, I've only seen a couple running on the streets in the last decade.

I'd love to build one myself. I bet you could totally confuse those teenyboppers in their ricers with a compact car that has a totally rowdy muscle car idle. I bet most of them couldn't tell you what they look like since most weren't even born when they were popular.

I like V-8 Vegas too.  I saw a station wagon Pontiac version of the Vega on one of the fly by night car dealerships here in town.  Didn't take a good look at it but from a distance it looks straight.  I didn't dare go over there to look at the thing - too much temptation.    The Pontiac version isn't very common though.  It would be something to have that full of big block Poncho power!

Sometimes I wish I was shorter so I could have plenty of headroom in economy cars.
