Is their such a thing as a 1979 Dodge Power Wagon? I "have one" but everthing I find tells me their is no such thing. It says power wagon on the side and has the full time all wheel drive like one should, but it dosn't make sence, weren't they discontinued before then?

Yes sir. The Power Wagon was offered through the 1980 model year. Then in 1981, it became the Power Ram.

Thank you. I thouth for shure someone just put the power wagon logo on it and it was just a reguler dodge. Are these trucks rare? A guy offered us $3,000 or so without even looking at it. I like the truck very much. It looks sweet. Sadly its been in a garage with a dirt floor for +-10 years. Thair is some truck left but it whould be a job, everything looks fine and the frame dosn't appear to about to give out. (I jumped on all four coners to give it a bounce to make shure) If it is is their any good places for info ar parts for the truck? And Would you tyr to start it with the right cautions?

Look on the fender tag (tag tucked under the grill by the battery area) for the code PZ 4001. That is the code for non glare black, which means it is a Macho power wagon. If it is a Macho I can see why someone would give you $3000 for it, otherwise I don't think it's worth that much in the condition you described. Of course one would have to see it to really know what to tell you.

Sorry to interrupt. I have 1998 Chevy tahoe 350 4wd full size .I replaced oxygen sensors. Motor runs good till it warms up to running temperature, then looses power and run terrible. up hill especially. My next step is dealer diagnostic computer check. I thought i would see if some one has experienced this before going that route. I think that       vega-racer73 is an ase. mechanic. Any advice may save my son in law a good chunk of change and be greatly appreciated. thanks from carfulmechanic.
