Very cool.

I'm another Pontiac flag waver as well.  Mine's a rather tattered flag though.

Yea - I'm a Pontiac freak too Pres - but you and I have talked before.  Yours may be a little more tattered and older, but our cars are the same color! December storms destroyed the house and a bunch of the property where my shop is, so my projects are on hold for now.  When I'm done haggling with the insurance company and have things back on track, then all heck is going to break loose.  Since my Catalina is the "favored child", I plan to launch into it first.  It's gunna be fun.

Haha, awesome!  If you know of anybody getting rid of an aftermarket 4bbl intake manifold for a 455, let me know.  I'm looking for a non-smog Performer so it'll fit the Holley I just picked up.

It depends on the track really.  Some will let a faster 'vert slide on a test and tune night while others are strict.  Personally, I got the boot for running a 12.8 in a '99 Cobra 'vert.  The worst thing about it was that I knew the car had some left in it.

I'd ask your local track and see what their feelings are on it.  Since it's not going to be a dedicated track car, they may let it slide.
